OOTD: Forever Young

Hello Young World!

Today I wore one of the tops from my last post.  The top is really cute but the fabric makes me hot! I still love it though but it'll more than likely be a fall staple.

Top and Jeans: Forever 21
Shoes: Bakers
Bangles: Charlotte Russe and Beauty Supply
Earrings: A fashion show

Ok, I have to admit that my pics are really crappy but I'm in the process of learning how to edit pictures.  I  do not have the software or the equiptment that I really want but I'm in the process of investing in them now.  If anybody has any advice about photo editing software or photography then please feel free to let me know.  As always, thanks for reading! :-)

Dear Summer

Hello young world!
Yesterday my friends and I went on a mini-roadtrip to Chattanooga to visit the Hamilton Place Mall.  This mall is the closest mall that has a Forever 21 that carries the plus size line.  I'm always on the website and I've ordered a few things but I like trying on their clothes before I buy them.  Anyway, here are a few things I purchased:
I love the way this skirt fits! I was a little scared of it because I didn't like the way it looked on the mannequin but when I tried it on it was perfect.  I bought it in a size 2x because of how much it stretches.  It's not on the website anymore but it was $10.80.

I think I'm going to save this for Miami.  If you follow me on Twitter then you'll know how much I really dont like floral prints anymore.  This tribal print is the best right now.  It was $17.80.  Didnt see this on the website either.

I have sooo many ideas on how to wear this dress.  I was afraid of this dress too but when I tried it on it was perferct! Here it is on the website

One of my friends (PearlsnFashion) had this on the straight sizes a long time ago.  I was surprised to see that they made it in plus.  She wore hers off her shoulder but this shirt isn't big enough for that but it's still super cute on.
It's not on the website anymore.

OMG!! I can't wait to wear this! This is going to be one of those pieces that I will probably wear ALL the time because there are sooo many different ways to wear it.  I was pleasantly surprised at how good it looks on.  I'm glad I found it here because I was going to pay $50-something for the one that ASOS has.  This isn't on the website either.

Overall I'm very pleased with the items I bought.  I bought things that I know I can wear a variety of ways.  If you haven't already noticed I'm really into tribal prints.  I bought a few more things that I want you all to see:
This top was $15 at Rainbow.  I'm not really a Rainbow shopper (I'm not knocking anyone that is) but I saw this top in the window and had to have it.  Its really drapey and it hangs off the shoulder.

Sooooooo... I admit... I fell into the crop top trend.  I'm not bold enough to wear it without anything under it but I really like it.  It was only $5 at Rainbow.  I had to have it...

These were on sales at DSW.  The sale price was $49.95 but there was an additional 30% off so with the discount and tax I paid like $40 for them.  I think I'm probably going to build my fall wardrobe around these.  They are a little tight but since they are leather I know they are going to stretch.

I knooooooww! Don't judge me! They were only $2.50 at Bakers.

These were $65 at Bakers.  I really need a pair of cute wedges because I only own like 2 pair.  They are much easier to walk in.

I found a new summer fragrance.  This is Chance by Chanel.  It smells sooooo good! I love it.  I bought the 1.2 oz bottle for $55.
Last but not least, this is what I wore:

Top: Dots
Shorts: DIY
Sandals: Bakers
Bangles: Charlotte Russe

Soooooo, I had fun but now I'm almost broke. I plan to do OOTD's for all the items.  I have a few more things to get to complete a few looks but overall I'm pretty excited about my summer wardrobe.

What are some of you favorite summer wardrobe items?

I would love to hear them! :-)  As always thank you sooo very much for reading!

Playing Catch-up

Hello young world!
I've been M.I.A. because I've been trying to figure out this blogging thing. I'm still learning and I have a long way to go. I recently discovered Bloglovin and a new blog writing app [which I am using now]. Hopefully with the new easier access to my blog I will be able to create more posts.
Here are a few outfits that I've worn over the past couple weeks:
